Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer is just about at the centre of the World War 2 D-Day Omaha beach in Normandy. By car to Boulogne is 362km which is 214 mijl
The east end of omaha beach at Vierville is 245miles from the port of Bolougne by road and another 5 miles to the other end of the beach at Sainte Honorine.
I think J G picked bolougne in Bordeaux which i presume is not what you intended
